Friday, July 25, 2014 Edition of NarbNet!

July 26, 2014

Welcome to the Friday, July 25, 2014 Edition of NarbNet!

Are you a traveling Narb?
A staycation Narb?
Whether you’re here or over there, please remember you have a great big little town (hey, what a great title for a
song) to support!
Our merchants and restaurants are here and will wait for your return (just like the dog), but don’t forget them!
Before you head out (or in) do a little shopping, pick up a bite to eat and drop a little coin in the downtown.
Buying local keeps your money local and helps our great little big town economy.
Thanks and have a wonderful time wherever you go (or not go)!

Do you Facebook?  Check out the Narberth Historical Society! https://www.facebook.com/NarberthHistory

Thank you to all who volunteer, donate and support ending hunger in our community.

In order to facilitate donations to the Narberth Food Bank, the Narberth Community Library has become a Drop
Off point for donations.  There is a receptacle just inside the library front door, in front of the circulation desk.
We hope this will make it easier for library patrons and other Narberth citizens to drop off much needed
donations at a time that is convenient for them.  The library is open from 10:00 to 8:00 - Monday thru Thursday
and 10:00 to 5:00 - Friday and Saturday. www.NarberthCivic.org/news is now publishing a self-updating notice
of items currently needed for donation to the food bank at the Narberth Family Resource Center. The needs
change regularly, and so will this list. I hope this will facilitate more efficient giving. Please remember the food
bank! Even just a few extra cans or items from
a trip makes a difference. There is significant and regular need right here in Lower Merion & Narberth. Check
out the article space in the top right hand column of NarberthCivic.org/news under Family Resource Center of
Narberth. Thank you for your support!

4.)     Wednesday, July 30, 2014 it’s Narberth Concert Night in the Park!  This week’s performer is Matt Santry

held on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Narberth, PA.  Several of
