Now here’s a list of fun, entertaining and community events in and about our town (Narberth and Nearberth) for the
upcoming week (and don’t forget to check www.meetthemayor.org for more updates):

1.)     Saturday, March 12, 2016. The eighth annual Great Narberth Leprechaun Hunt is being held in downtown
Narberth on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 1pm - 4pm.  This free family event is a scavenger hunt, the Saturday
before St. Patrick’s Day, where kids search all over town to find ten leprechauns.  Hundreds of children start the hunt
by getting a game card and an empty pot o’ gold from the booth at the corner of Forrest and Haverford Avenues.
They get treats as they find the leprechauns, who are hiding in shops all over town.  Once they’ve found all ten, they
return to the booth for a prize - a gold American dollar coin! The hunt lasts until 4pm or while prizes last.

2.)     Monday, March 14 , 2016 there is a Narberth Borough Council Session beginning at 8:00 PM in Narberth
Borough Hall.  One of the topics tonight will be the proposed Formed Based Zoning Code.  Pleas join us!

3.)     Monday, March 14, 2016,  We are registering for our Spring Classes at The Handwork Studio! Spring Classes
begin March 1st.

Classes at The Handwork Studio are a great way to keep your kids creative outside of school. These one-hour classes
are offered in Handwork & Machine Sewing (Grades K-6) Fashion & Machine Sewing (Grades 3-10)
and Open Design Studio (Grades 6-10). Classes are always enrolling! You can get more details or register by
calling Miss Ana at 610-660-9600. You can also learn more here: http://www.thehandworkstudio.com/narberth-
studio/classes

4.)     Tuesday, March 15, 2016, Tiny Tales , Tuesdays AND Thursdays @ 10:30 a.m. at the Narberth Community
Library. For ages Birth to 5.  Stories, songs and a craft with Miss Janine and Miss Mayuri.

5.)     Tuesday, March 15, 2016, *Narberth Community Food Bank *All are Welcome!*

Thank you to all who volunteer, donate and support ending hunger in our community. In order to facilitate donations
to the Narberth Food Bank, the Narberth Community Library has become a Drop Off point for donations.  There is a
receptacle just inside the library front door, in front of the circulation desk. We hope this will make it easier for
library patrons and other Narberth citizens to drop off much needed donations at a time that is convenient for them.
The library is open from 10:00 to 8:00 - Monday thru Thursday and 10:00 to 5:00 - Friday and Saturday.
www.NarberthCivic.org/news is now publishing a self-updating notice of items currently needed for donation to the
food bank at the Narberth Family Resource Center. The needs change regularly, and so will this list. I
hope this will facilitate more efficient giving. Please remember the food bank! Even just a few extra cans or items
from a trip makes a difference. There is significant and regular need right here in Lower Merion & Narberth. Check
out the article space in the top right hand column of NarberthCivic.org/news under Family Resource Center of
Narberth. Thank you for your support!

6.)     Wednesday, March 16, 2016 | 9:30-10:30 am, Mommy & Me Yoga, MLRT School for Early Childhood
Education is now offering Mommy & Me Yoga classes for children 9 weeks to 12 months old led by certified Hatha
Yoga teacher, Ofrit Barash.  $15/class for 10 sessions; $20/class for 5 session or $25/session (drop in).  Sign up
