Welcome to the Friday, April 24, 2015 Edition of NarbNet!
It’s the Narberth CF Run & Walk/NarbEarth Day/T-Ball and Coffee/Baseball Weekend!
That’s okay, you may now catch your breath.
We have a way too busy weekend planned for you and the weather looks absolutely beautiful in the Boro.
Enjoy and hope to see you (running) in town!
P.S.-The Narberth Run needs traffic volunteers. If you would like to contribute your time, please go to
www.narberthrun.com for more information (or stop by the tents early Saturday on the field.)
(Bring out your) Friends of Narberth History-
Join us on NarbEarth Day, Saturday, April 25 (Noon to 4:00 PM) and learn more about our town. We will
gladly photograph and catalog any Narberth historical artifacts you would like to bring for review and
comment (just think of a Narberth version of Antique Roadshow.). If you wish to donate any historical items,
we will accept them as well. Thank You (and hope to see you Saturday!)
“On a bicycle built for two?” https://youtu.be/78MKBHR3NbU
Not quite.
I don’t think Daisy sung about your bike and the person that just walked it off your porch without permission.
Just a reminder, please lock or secure your bikes. We have been receiving many calls of missing bikes from
the garage or porch in the Boro with the spring weather. Thanks!

The Philly Foodworks Farm share is returning to Narberth with fresh local veggies, meat, cheeses, and more.
Different than a regular farm share, the Philly Foodworks Rolling Farm Share offers regular deliveries of fresh
local foods with as little as a $100 pre-season payment and no seasonal commitment. Get creative by choosing
from custom shares, special add-ons, and a range of great local products on their online market.

sustainable producers while bringing good food to the community. They provide farmers with funding upfront
and work with community groups to make local food more accessible for all.

Thank you to all who volunteer, donate and support ending hunger in our community.
In order to facilitate donations to the Narberth Food Bank, the Narberth Community Library has become a
Drop Off point for donations. There is a receptacle just inside the library front door, in front of the circulation
desk. We hope this will make it easier for library patrons and other Narberth citizens to drop off much needed
donations at a time that is convenient for them. The library is open from 10:00 to 8:00 - Monday thru
Thursday and 10:00 to 5:00 - Friday and Saturday.
www.NarberthCivic.org/news is now publishing a self-updating notice of items currently needed for donation
to the food bank at the Narberth Family Resource Center. The needs change regularly, and so will this list. I
hope this will facilitate more efficient giving. Please remember the food bank! Even just a few extra cans or
items from a trip makes a difference. There is significant and regular need right here in Lower Merion &
