Welcome to the Friday, May 8, 2015 Edition of NarbNet!
Shop Narberth!
Thanks to everyone that came out last weekend during the Narberth Sidewalk Festival and supported our
downtown. It was a beautiful (and wonderful) weekend but it doesn’t have to stop.
Please remember to shop and dine in our downtown, often, before the camp, shore and summer trips roll
around.
Our small town merchants and restaurants rely upon you to spend your dollars locally (just think of it as a
DollarStaycation…)
Thank you!
Little Otters,
Time to strap on your rugby cleats, pull on your rugby shorts, tighten up your belt and flags and play some
rugby! The 2015 Narberth Flag Rugby season is right around the corner and we are looking forward to having
you back for another exciting season. Each summer our program has grown and we are looking forward to
doing the same this summer. Please send this information to family and friends who you think would be
interested in joining us as we bring the fastest growing sport in the world to Narberth Park. Our program is
designed to be a fun and exciting learning experience for all players, novice and veteran. Please contact Coach
Robb DeLuca at [email protected] with questions, or view our website atwww.narberthrugby.org
for registration and program information.
Memorial Day Parade Marshalls wanted!
If you are interested in marshaling the Narberth Memorial Parade, please contact John Nardi at 610-664-5504.
The parade is scheduled for Monday, May 25th starting at 9:30 AM and the Marshals will be needed starting at
8:00 AM until the end of the parade. Also, there will be a meeting of the Marshals Sunday evening to go over

Thank you to all who volunteer, donate and support ending hunger in our community. In order to facilitate
donations to the Narberth Food Bank, the Narberth Community Library has become a Drop Off point for
donations. There is a receptacle just inside the library front door, in front of the circulation desk. We hope this
will make it easier for library patrons and other Narberth citizens to drop off much needed donations at a time
that is convenient for them. The library is open from 10:00 to 8:00 - Monday thru Thursday and 10:00 to 5:00
- Friday and Saturday.
www.NarberthCivic.org/news is now publishing a self-updating notice of items currently needed for donation
to the food bank at the Narberth Family Resource Center. The needs change regularly, and so will this list. I
hope this will facilitate more efficient giving. Please remember the food bank! Even just a few extra cans or
items from a trip makes a difference. There is significant and regular need right here in Lower Merion &
Narberth. Check out the article space in the top right hand column of NarberthCivic.org/news under Family
Resource Center of Narberth. Thank you for your support!
